Download Page News: 03.01.2k10: Three digitally re-mastered albums re-released from our archives. The two "Best of" collections have been taken down, but can still be downloaded here [Best of Trochlear - Era I] and here [Best of Trochlear - Era II]. Many albums, extended promos and singles from our earlier works are discontinued. These three re-releases are still alive and kicking. In fact, ECR's "The Human Design" is easily the most popular album ever produced by a Trochlear entity. It's still being played on Internet radio to this very day and continues to gain in momentum. Shout out in thanks to BMFD for remastering!
06.02.2k9: The debut EP from Schema ATX is now available here on the download page, as well as on the main site and on Bandcamp.com. Mushuto's "Flex Louder" is still available on the main site (Mushuto > Audio) and the next album queued up for re-release is "Fluxuati". Welcome to Summer! Anyone who missed "Flex Louder" can also download the full album as an archive using this link. 03.31.2k9: The very first album from Trochlear Recordings launched in January of 2006, Mushuto's "Flex Louder". His music, as well as San Jaya Prime's, was recently added to IMDb for the short film "15 Minutes" (by AndersonEnvy Media). Here is the link. "Flex Louder" has replaced "The Ash of a Thousand Suns" here on the Download Page for free download in celebration. "Ash" can still be downloaded on the main T.Rex page under the "Audio" section for San Jaya Prime. Conveniently enough, the full album can also be downloaded using this link. |

| Free the music. That's the only answer to a time when many people cannot afford homes, cars and even food. Music's not the first thing on the mind of an empty stomach. Can't afford music? Then share it. You get to give away music and help spread the word. Everybody wins. Can you afford to donate? We love you long time if you do. There's more music on the way. We love win-win situations. Tell others. Bring them into the winners' circle. Email doesn't cost a penny more than it does to visit this site. If you're downloading any of the full albums then you've got time. Rock. To leave your download undisturbed, this link opens a new window to email others. What is all this T.Rex DigiLab biz about anyway? Here's a quick insight. Trochlear Recordings does techno. We're an Austin-based electronica label, who blah, blah, blah... .. . We're also avid supporters of the machine armies that will soon rise to replace mankind, but that is more of a footnote. One thing at a time. We launched in January of '06, following on award-winning successes from previous years. Some launches actually make it to space... others explode in mid-air. A lot has changed. We lost our distributor (KarmaDownload) and licensor (Raw 42 UK), then lost the original website and a good amount of hardware. These are small losses when compared to the death of our friend and lead producer--Jared Newby. This--this site right here--is our push to live and to give something back. So that's your download--that's who we are in a soundbyte. T.Rex needs listeners, needs those who will tell others and needs donors. That's you. We need you. Are you a DJ? Mix our music in live sets. Do you produce or direct film and/or media pieces? The CC-license on our music lets you use it in your works for the low cost of attribution. Did you catch that? If you would, send us a line when you use our work. Digg? Thank you for being a part of this. We'd love to hear from you. Questions, comments, messages or suggestions? They'll each be read. We reply to as many as possible. Trochlear isn't the only label going donation-based. It's happening everywhere. If the world of high-quality free music is new to you, here is our own suggested list of places to start: |
